Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach officially starts her duties and responsibilities as an ambassadress while wearing the crown and sash. Her first task is to attend an interview with Lara Spencer on Good Morning America. As based from the interview, Pia appears to be excited to serve and to inspire the world with her confidence with a heart since she won as Miss Universe in December of last year in Las vegas, Nevada in the United States.

After several days of rest since her win, she is now ready to face the mass media who are now getting more and more curious about her as the Miss Universe. The press is very interested to meet with her because she is coming out as a fress beauty queen from one of the most prestigious pageants in the world. Paparazzis hopes to see her in person as well as having the chance to set up an interview with her. This is even if she is always under a busy schedule as organized by the Miss Universe Organization after she was proclaimes as Miss Universe for the year 2015.

After more than a week of rest, Pia Wurtzbach was notified about her duties and responsibilities that will start on January 4, 2015. They advise her to take time anticipating about her new role as Miss Universe due to the controversies and mix up during the coronation night of the pageant that was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. She is now currently in New York, where she will be staying for at least a year until the next Miss Universe titleholder that will be held later this year will be crowned in Belize.

As based on the interview, Pia was asked about her personal opinion regarding the mix-up and realizing that she is indeed the winner. She stated that she was nervous but still glad that finally, the Philippines have another crown after 42 years of drought. This time, she proves to the world that the Philippines is now back in the competition and hoping that the country will deliver a competitive way of showing the world how beautiful Filipinas are.

Not only with the set of female pageants all over the world, Male pageants are also starting to heat up as pageant organizers are now interested organizing male pageants, which is one of the most anticipated events in the field of entertainment industry. Male pageant hopefuls are excited to know that they can participate with the male version of beauty pageant, which is inspired by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to bring honor to their respective countries.

For the situation of Ariadna Gutierrez, Pia indicated that she understands how it feels to be deeply humiliated in front of the crowd. She sent greetings and comforting messages to Ariadna on December 25. which is her birthday!

She was asked what if the situation is the opposite wherein she is the first runner-up and Ariadna is the winner. Pia answered with humility by stating that she will be also grieving for how many days. She knows that Colombia is always rooting for their country and Philippines is also rooting for their own country. Filipinos will be also disappointed if she failed to clinch the third crown for their country.

Pia Wurtzbach talked about her dream to become a bond girl, which make her feel fulfilled if the right opportunity will arrive. She knows that being an international star will be more challenging because you are going to be entertaining a bigger audience.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is a local celebrity in the Philippines. She was formerly known as Pia Romero. She only used her real family name for legal purposes such as joining the national pageant, Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) where she tried three attempts before being crowned and represented her country.

The 64th edition of Miss Universe has been won by her, adding one more crown to the country for a total of 3. First runner-up is Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez while Miss USA is the second runner-up.
