Trixia Maria Marana, a contestant from the Philippines is the new Miss Asia 2016. The pageant was held in Kerala, India. Trixia bested at least 18 contestants from across Asia and Eurasian regions of the world who went to India to compete for Miss Asia 2016 beauty pageant. The Philippines is very proud about Marana's achievement for successfully bannering the pageant while representing her country in India.
Miss Asia 2016 or also known as Miss Asia Global 2016 was held on August 18, 2016. Trixia was flattered to be called as the ultimate winner of Miss Asia 2016.During the crowning moment of Miss Asia 2016, the hosts were flattered by her winsome smile, which is a contagious moment for a queen to display her beauty in front of the spectators of the pageant. The pageant was also televised from Miss Asia's official Facebook page during the coronation night.

Miss Asia 2016 second runner-up was awarded to Miss India, Ankita Kharat, who received a cash prize of 100,000 Indian Rupee. The first runner-up of Miss Asia 2016 was awarded to Miss Belarus, Yauheniya Vasilyeva with a prize money of 200,000 Indian Rupees. Aside from the cash prize, the runner-ups received a bouquet, sash, and several benefits for placing in the pageant. All contestants got the chance to make their final walk after being awarded from runner-ups to the eventual winner of the pageant.
If Trixia is unable to fulfill her duties as Miss Asia 2016, she will be replaced by Miss Belarus who is the current 1st runner-up of the annual event. Trixia hopes to sustain their reign without violating any laws and to have a successful Miss Asia reign until she will crown the next winner.
