Dark horse Stephanie Del Valle succeeds Mireya Lalaguna as the new Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico. However, Stephanie did not fail her fans and followers as she won the most coveted crown for the world. Miss World is the largest international female beauty pageant basing from the volume of contestants from different territories and countries. There are at least 117 entrants who vied for Miss World crown this 2016. The winner bested 116 other delegates from around the world and made her country proud once again as the reigning Miss World. Mireya Lalaguna of Spain was lucky to crown her successor as her reign officially ends after the coronation night, which will be given to the new winner to continue her duties and responsibilities.
