As based from the interview, the young boy said that he did not eat for at least seven days, along with his family because there was no food that were left at their home. His parents are struggling because there is no available food that can be purchased anywhere across the city. 
 
Starvation is the process when a person, household, or community did not eat for several days. This occurs both intentionally or unintentionally depending from the situation of the person. On the unintended cause can be attributed to natural disasters when the victim is trapped in a pile of debris for several days. Intentional starvation occurs when a person, a group, or organization decides to cut basic needs such as food for the victim that will leave them to die due to starvation. 
 
Signs and symptoms of starvation as based from the photo include sunken eyeballs as well as developing deep ridges on the face. Intercostal ridges along the ribcage of the victim is visible, including when they exhibit expiration. Most people start to appear unusually thin, with their muscles that appear to have been already lost due to the continuous breakdown that is converted into energy. 
 
Assad regime will face another legal sanctions due to their intentional use of starvation to punish their citizens due to their support with the rebel group. About Black Nazarene: Black Nazarene is a life-size statue of Jesus Christ that is carrying a cross. The figure is currently enshrined in Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene situated in the district of Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. The figure was created by a Mexican carver in 17th century, depicting Jesus Christ that is carrying the cross towards the site of his crucifiction. The appearance of the statue is black, which it got its name as a black nazarene that is different from other statues that are made in lighter colors or representing the person from a caucasian race. 
 
The statue is thought to be miraculous among its followers. Since it arrived in the Philippines during the Spanish regime. After announcing that Nimr Baqr al-Nimr was among 47 executed individuals in Saudi Arabia, it sparked an enormous outrage in Iran. Shiite supporters immediately protested the execution to the Saudi Embassy in Tehran. As driven by their raging emotional reaction, protesters were not contented to just protest wherein they started ransacking the whole embassy of Saudi Arabia. This is due to Al-Nimr's Shiite support base that continues to follow his advocacies and interests. Saudi is known for its harsh way of capitalizing an extreme punishment that attracts human rights activists. Capital punishment is a government sanctioned way of penalizing any individuals or groups who are involved in first degree-based offenses such as terrorism, murder, rape, drug users or dealers, and espionage. 
 
Bahrain is the second country to announce that it will also cut diplomatic ties with Iran. Authorities from Bahrain is calling all Bahrain nationals to leave Iran in less than 48 hours from the time of its announcement to the public media. Surrounding countries are now feeling the pressure whether or not they will follow Bahrain or Saudi Arabia's measures against its relationship with Iran. This means that Iran will be having more headaches because there are two nations who are now creating a political rift with their political affairs. 
 
About Nimr Baqr al-Nimr 
 
Nimr Baqr al-Nimr is a prominent Shiite cleric who was a Sheikh in al-Awamiyah, Eastern Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was known to be a critical Shiite activist of the kingdom. As a Shiite cleric, he cries foul against the treatment of the Saudi government towards Shias such as not providing equal rights. He was then arrested on July 8, 2012 while allegedly being involved in a gunfire against the authorities before the arrest. Al-Nimr was then sentenced to capital punishment by Specialized Criminal Court in Saudi Arabia. He was then executed on January 2, 2016, and then buried his body to an undisclosed location.

For the Shiite community, al-Nimr was considered as a hero for being a critical personality against the Sunnis. Shiite communities around the world are now mourning his death following his execution by the Saudi authorities. Since the beginning of the 21st century, a new threat has begun. Muslim countries around the world are now experiencing some of the highest security threats due to the rise of terrorist organizations and their networks. There were mass killings made by terrorist groups that are now causing massive atrocities to the affected areas. Western countries are also being targetted in order to spill the word of terrorism that is always seeking for a large-scale destruction to their communities. 
 
It is very sad to know that Islam is considered the most hated religion in the world. This is brought about by the escalation of violence made by the terrorist group who are using Jihad as a tool for them to corrupt the minds of the Muslim world. While terrorist organizations are advocating ultra-Islamist conservativism, the ideological principle became risky enough to cause a significant disruption to the safety of the society. For this issue, the relationship of Muslims to other non-Muslim world escalated segregation due to fear of being persecuted by Jihadist militants responsible for propagating violence in the community.

One of the most unpleasant scenarios was when westerners who were radicalized by Jihadists turned against the society by means of promoting mass destruction that happened in Paris on the night of November 8, 2015. It was one of the largest terrorist campaign committed by a Jihadist organization in a foreign nation. France is considered as the heart of the Europe, a vital center for the terrorist to bombard mass destruction missions. 
 
What is Islamophobia? Since the evolution of terrorist organizations, Islamophobia became a significant social issue. This is referred as a fear experienced by non-Muslims against Muslims. As a personal sentiment towards Muslims, this is considered as a prejudice because it hurts our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters because not all Muslims are law-breakers. Negative emotions towards Muslims promotes issues of hatred, fear, and dread towards Muslim followers. 
 
In the field of psychology, Islamophobia is a type of phobia that is concentrated on having a psychological anxiety towards Muslims. There are several leaders who are sadly creating an attention due to their hateful speech or remarks against Muslims by flashing them out of their country. There are several mosques around the world that are being ransacked by vigilant groups who are promoting anti-Islam sentiments to their own communities. 
 
Attributed causes of Islamophobia 
 
Terrorism is the main cause for generating fear and hatred towards Muslims. This is because Jihadists were responsible for falsely using the word of Allah in order to promote violence towards non-Muslims. Terrorism has not been taken into consideration as a serious cause until an incident happened on September 11, 2001, when terrorists bombed the United States of America. 
 
The Radicalization of foreigners is also being blamed for the generation of anti-Muslim sentiments. Terrorist organizations have been targeting individuals who are depressed and have been known to starting isolating themselves to the society. Suicidal individuals are also being radicalized because they create a perfect recipe for a disaster by tricking them to wear bomb vests in order to create coercion to a populated place in a certain busy community. 
 
The increase in the numbers of terror-related incidents across the community has been responsible for generating more individuals and groups who are now being involved with causing hateful remarks towards Muslims. 
 
Islamophobia are advised by many leaders around the world not to be condoned for the reason that it only promotes hatred towards other individuals. The essence of peace and unity will not be maximized if there are individuals who continue to promote violence towards others due to anti-Muslim sentiments.

Not all family is very lucky to born with an instant wealth. Some are born with a financially struggling household. However, we cannot argue that there are still many families who are not that lucky enough to send their children to school due to lack of income source. The video presents a heartbreaking situation of a young school girl, who is hard working and very obedient to her family. Basing from the audio presentation, the short film is narrated by the girl's father. 
 
This is a sad case of a family who is always making ends meet. No matter how hard life is, you will always have a member in the family who is taking full responsibility for the actions that could ensure that you can eat three times a day. However, the struggle in your family if you live below the poverty line is about the security. In this case, you need to sacrifice your time and effort so that the value of reaching your goals becomes positive and can have the possibility to reach success. This girl proves that anything is possible because as a school girl, she is always looking towards the future of her family, which is touching enough to potentially change their lifestyle in the future.

In this position, the girl exemplifies herself to be a role model to other children. Despite being born in a family that is struggling to maintain a positive environment, the girl is determined to show that she is the hope for their family's success. This is important because someone from the family has the courage to face the odds in order to prove herself that she can make a difference in this world. 
 
As a summary, every young individual deserves the right to be given a bright future that they deserve as part of their legal rights. As based from the short film, a hard working teenage school girl who has a promising future is now challenged with a heavier responsibilities. She is the only person to help with her father and siblings with the absence of their late mother. She is now ambivalent to choose between her future career and her loving family.

Meet Siew Fang, the eldest daughter of the family. Every after class, she proceeds to work at her auntie's bakeshop, which is just a walking distance away from their school. This is not a typical scenario for an average teenage schoolgirl to enjoy their teenage life. Siew Fang learned that she must have to work hard in order to ensure that she always fulfills her responsibility well. She knew that she is the only one whom her family relies on to do household duties. As you can see, her father is disabled and seeks Siew's success to have their family a chance to elevate their socio-economic situation in the future.

Upon waking up in the morning, she immediately prepares the food for breakfast. After doing her morning chores, she assists her paralyzed father by transferring him from bed to his wheelchair. Every afternoon after work, Siew Fang waits for her two younger siblings at the bus station before heading home. This is her usual routine before coming home, bringing some food to her family every afternoon. 
 
When at home, she is the only person to do household chores. She prepares and serves each meal for her family, which is her father and two younger siblings. After meals, she will now cleans the kitchen and then help her sibling to do their homework. Late at night, this will be the only time for her to study her lessons at school, such as doing her homework and reviewing her lessons for any surprise examinations provided by her teachers at school. 
 
Impressed the teachers, but made Siew Feng sad 
 
One day, Siew Fang was called by her adviser in her class. Her teacher was impressed from her performance by having high results. The results show that she is eligible to enroll to foreign universities such as Cambridge. However, she seemed to be devastated because there will be no one who will take care of her family when she goes abroad and study. Her principle in life is to follow her responsibility to prioritize her family by any means even if she is offered with new opportunities to improve her career. 
 
The lies 
 
One evening, she revealed to her father that she received low grades when she was asked about her examination results. The patriarch suddenly become anguished about what he heard from her eldest daughter. Siew Feng argued with her father that she is totally devoted to her family and she doesn't want to leave them. 
 
Mr. Fang indicated clearly to his children not to be like him, which is a useless person due to his paralysis. He also reiterated to the younger siblings not to follow Siew Feng for ranking low on her studies. He then immediately discontinued eating his meal at the dinner table and then rolled himself with his wheelchair towards his room. Siew Fang was left behind with her siblings, crying. 
 
Day after day, Siew Fang still served food for her father. However, her refused to be helped and still pondered in despair inside his room. 
 
The revelation 
 
One day, Mr. Fang went to the room of her eldest daughter. He tried to check some stuff from Siew Feng's reading materials. Upon opening the booklet, he read the actual examination result of Siew Fang. When he discovered that her eldest daughter excelled all of her grades, he suddenly burst into tears. He realized that he daugher was lying about having a low grade because she doesn't want to leave her family behind when she study abroad. 
 
While crying, Siew Fang timingly arrived and saw her father who just revealed the real score about her white lies. They eventually hugged each other and then asked for forgiveness. 
 
About the movie 
 
The short film is entitled as "The Last Day of School" that is directed by James Less. The film is the recipient of at least seven Singapore Creative & Advertising award, which is known as GONG 2015 Creative Circle Awards.
