The Atlantic Hurricane Season this year became active since 2010 as there were numerous storms brew over the Atlantic basin and started causing havoc across the southern coastlines of the United States and the Carribean region. The Central American region and the northern coastlines of South America are also at risk for the incessant storms that could pass within their vicinity after forming in the Atlantic Ocean basin. The most concerning storm of the season is Hurricane Irma, which already made its presence felt in the Caribbean region. 
 
International weather agencies across the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean basins are now closely monitoring Hurricane Irma. The monstrous storm formed when a cloud cluster of thunderstorms from the West African region gradually formed a circulation just above the equator. The storm quickly intensified into a Hurricane after one day due to the warm seas of the Atlantic Ocean's equatorial area. The storm is expected to brush out the coastlines of Puerto Rico, Hispaniola Island, Cuba, Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas before it will proceed to the State of Florida in the United States. Evacuations are underway for the affected residents to prevent any casualty, injury, and damages to properties.

Hurricane Irma is a severely powerful and a devastating tropical cyclone that formed in the Atlantic Ocean basin. It is one of the strongest tropical cyclones to cause havoc in the Caribbean and the United States since 2005 when Hurricane Wilma basing from a maximum sustained wind speeds. Hurricane Irma reached a peak wind gust of up to 350 kilometers per hour or 220 miles per hour near the center. 
 
What makes Hurricane Irma concerning? this powerful Hurricane is believed as the product of global warming. The hurricane's wind speed is considered the most powerful storms produced by the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The diameter of the storm is 400 miles wide or more than 600 kilometers, which can cover the entire States of Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. Hurricane Irma caused a destructive impact in Barbuda with more than 50% of structures were destroyed. As the storm continues to move in a northwestern direction, the storm's wind gusts are slowly degrading as it approaches colder water in the north accompanied by a wind shear. 
 
Caribbean nations blame global warming as the main culprit responsible for causing a formation of several tropical cyclones and other natural calamities in the region. Global warming is an event when the Earth's atmosphere becomes warmer. This is brought about by the continuous emissions of carbon fuels from vehicles, factories, and man-made forest fires. Pollution caused by irresponsible segregation of waste materials continuous to destroy ecosystems across the world. 1. HURRICANE IRMA

As the hurricane approaches Cuba and the Southern States of the United States of America, the percentage of destruction is expected to increase. The storm is responsible for causing strong coastal storm surges along its path. The storm's pressure reached at 921 mbar. There are mass evacuations that are underway for those areas that are expected to suffer the wrath of the storm after a few hours at this point. The storm's wind intensity is also predicted to degrade from a Category 5 to a Category 3 hurricane once it will reach the Florida Peninsula.

2. SUPER TYPHOON HAIYAN  
 
In the Western Pacific basin, the tropical disturbance started as a tropical low within the vicinity of the Federated States of Micronesia. The disturbance quickly intensified into a typhoon after a few days. The peak intensity of the storm reached 250 miles per hour or 385 kilometers per hour near the center, which makes it as one of the strongest tropical disturbances in the Eastern hemisphere. The typhoon left behind at least 6,329 confirmed fatalities while there is at least 1,074 number of individuals who are still missing up to this date. The total damage caused by the disturbance escalated to at least $2.86 billion in USD. 
 
Super typhoon Haiyan is thought as the deadliest tropical disturbance in the Philippine history. The typhoon caused another significant damage when it reached Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and in Southern China. The most lethal weapon of the tropical disturbance is the storm surge. The Philippines was unprepared for the onslaught of storm surge that reached at least 10 meters in height, especially near the coastal waters where the storm made landfalls.

Reina Hispano-America is an annual beauty pageant based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia since 1991. The annual pageant aims to celebrate Hispanic heritage, culture, and language of Hispanic countries around the world. The annual beauty pageant was originally identified as Reina Sudamericana (South American Queen). With the conclusion of Miss World Philippines 2017, the country's representatives in major beauty pageants are now ready to represent the country in their respective event. On September 3, 2017, Laura Lehman was crowned as the new Miss World Philippines 2017. The conclusion of the pageant was held in SM Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. There were at least 35 candidates who participated during the coronation night with at least 15 placements for semifinalists, 4 crowns, and 2 runners-up. The winners were graced by the winners and runners up of Miss World 2016 headed by Julia Morley.

Miss World Philippines national beauty pageant is the one of the largest national pageant held annually in the Philippines. This is the first time Julia Morley invited her continental queens and runners-up to attend a national pageant in the Philippines. 
 
During the coronation night, the vibe of Laura Lehman dominated the whole night with her silky aura brought about by her vibrant skin tone. Laura impressed the judges when she was asked: "what is her message to those who do not believe that beauty pageant competitions do not provide an inspiration to other women". Her answer was "For those who don't believe in any pageant competition, she ask non-believers to reconsider the girls who competed on this night. We have architects, lawyers, girls with a substance, and professionals to show what's in their hearts and not what they look like.
