The four claimed that they were robbed by an unidentified group of men dressed in police suits while they were inside the taxi on the way back to their quarters. Lochte made a statement with the Today Show in an interview that they were a victim of Rio's harsh criminal activities. After the interview, the media published articles wherein Lochte was the latest victim of Rio's dangerous criminal offenders.<br />

However, there was a breakthrough with the incident involving the four American swimmers when a staff from a gasoline station, together with the security guards reported an incident to the police. This was regarding a broken property owned by the gas station. It was reported that the swimmers made an irresponsible act by vandalizing the bathroom of the gas station, damaging soap holder, breaking windows, and damaged a "Please Do Not Enter" sign.<br />

Rio De Janeiro Police Department started investigating the scene. Photos and a close-circuit camera footage were observed during the investigation. The police have identified the suspects responsible for damaging several properties of the gas station and who made an altercation with the security personnel of the gas station. Eventually, police discovered that the real identities of the foreigners were in fact, the American swimmers. The police then started to coordinate with the administration officials of the Olympic committee to further investigate the incident.<br />

The United States Olympic Committee were astounded by the revelation made by the Rio De Janeiro Police Department. They were totally disappointed with the reckless acts of their four swimmers who were involved in a scuffle with the Brazillian citizens in a gas station.<br />

The officials of the United States Olympic Committee officials is now investigating the incident. If any of the involved members of the Olympic team was indeed found to violate any rules, corresponding punishments will be applied immediately. The act was clearly unacceptable and the rule breakers deserve to be apprehended.<br />

When the photo was taken sometime in May, schools are closed for summer vacation. Rita took the advantage of begging in the streets as one of the best ways to earn a living. Through begging, she can earn to help her parents pay for her tuition as well as to help her family sustain their basic needs such as food.<br />

Danny Gabiola is the bread winner of the family. Marites Gabiola is a plain housewife but helps the family to sustain their basic needs by begging and selling anything to gain any financial opportunities that she can get. Being a fisherman is not an easy job to do; however, it is the only thing that Rita's father know to sustain their family's needs. Technically, the family is considered living below the poverty line due to a very low annual income.<br />

Rita was supposed to be enrolling for this school year to continue her studies as a grade 7 student. But things changed when her photos became viral on the internet and then currently became a celebrity in mainstream media.<br />
<br />
After Rita's photos went viral, several talent agencies, magazines, and entertainment agencies approached her. Rita initially made a makeover further enhancing her natural beauty by showing her unique bone structure in her photos that were published publicly.<br />
<br />
After being noticed when her transformation photos were published, Rita was now given several opportunities in both the entertainment and from public service industries.<br />
<br />
Rita is now one of the recipients of scholarships granted by the City government of Lucena under the initiative of the city's Mayor Roderick Alcala. The city government is now assisting Rita's family that will provide employment opportunities to improve their current socio-economic lifestyle.<br />
<br />
Rita is also granted with an educational scholarships by several foundation agencies such as the Kapamilya foundation. Rita hopes that she can finish her studies as a future licensed teacher. This is to provide her the opportunity to become an inspiration to other members of Badjao group by instilling the importance of education.<br />
<br />
Now, Rita signed several contracts with these talent agencies. One of these contracts is for being an official housemate of Pinoy Big Brother. The public can now take a glimpse of Rita while staying inside Big Brother's house that is televised daily.<br />
<br />
Rita Gabiola hopes to further stay in the entertainment industry so that she can earn much that will forever lift her family's socio-economic status.<br />

The term "Badjao" is a group of an ethnic minority in the Philippines that is regarded as sea dwellers. These are indigent tribe who spend most of their time fishing and stay in the seas for most of their lives. When Mother Nature makes a surprise, you cannot do anything but to witness its full force as it can affect your area. At 3 in the afternoon of August 14, 2016, a tornado suddenly touched down in Metro Manila, Philippines. The swirling winds surprised Metro Manila when it formed a funnel-shaped cloud swirling in the atmosphere. The twister was visibly seen on the horizon when the rain stopped that afternoon in the Metro.<br />
<br />
Residents were horrified when they noticed that something from above is going to happen, especially to those who were near the area. The weather phenomenon started when people in the Metro noticed that a swirling wind is slowly starting to pick up debris in the sky. The wind suddenly became terrifying at it slowly lifted roofs, poles, and several debris. A funnel-shaped cloud started forming, which confirmed that it is a twister, threatening the safety of those who are located near the tornado in Metro Manila.<br />

Witnesses start to pick up their phones and then start taking several photos of the natural phenomenon that affected the area. Others were eager to record the twister in order to have a remembrance from their phone. But some were able to publish photos and videos of the tornado to their social media accounts.<br />
<br />
Even from afar, residents who were in an elevated area were able to see the twisting funnel cloud as it rips Metro Manila. Residents were scared when there were several electric lines that were snapped by the funnel cloud, causing power outages in several areas. Sparking electric lines can be visibly seen as it caused havoc across the metropolis of the Philippine capital city. Flying debris are also dangerously flipping and flying around the funnel cloud after it was sucked by the twister in Metro Manila.<br />
<br />
The aftermath of the natural phenomenon made a significant damage to several establishments, properties, and structures on its path. The government is still assessing the total damage to all properties affected by the tornado across the Metro. However, it is estimated that there are at least 1 million in Php. This was because there were several electric posts that were damaged, uprooted trees, broken rooftops, and broke several glasses of establishments affected by the natural phenomenon.<br />

In just 50.93 seconds, James Schooling made a new record in men's 100m butterfly swimming competition. He successfully made not only a record for the Rio Olympics but also a record for himself. Michael Phelps from the United Stated came in second at 51.86 seconds.<br />

Chad de Clos who is the best swimmer from South Africa and Laszlo Cseh who is also the best swimmer of Hungary won the bronze medal after both came as 3rd placers. There at least four participants during this competition that won a medal each for the 100-meter breaststroke competition in Rio De Janeiro. This is a rare situation where there should only be three people who will be given three medals as a standard. The Olympic Committee regards players who can win a medal when they both tied in a certain event in any top three places.<br />
