She is now undergoing treatment to further cure her lung cancer disease that has been affecting her health since 2014 before running for the President of the Philippines this year. Miriam's family, friends, and relatives hope that Miriam's prognosis improves for the next days after her recent treatment and will be discharged in the health facility in Taguig City where she was previously confined.
