Boxing superstar, Manny Pacquiao or Pacman had just won another accomplishment in his life. But this time, as a Philippine senator after the Commission of Elections in the Philippines proclaimed him on May 19, 2016. He was accompanied by his whole family, which includes his wife, Jinkee Pacquiao along with their children. He is also known as the only senator in the world who continues to win several boxing championships under his name.

Prior from being a senator, he was an outgoing congressman, representing the province of Sarangani in Mindanao island that served for the 16th Congress of the Philippines as a re-electionist. He was first elected as the official congressman of the province of Sarangani in May 2010 after beating the incument representative of the same province.
Other than the boxing superstar, his siblings won their respective local political posts in the Philippines. Former professional boxer and the older brother of Pacman, Bobby Pacquiao recently proclaimed as the councilor of General Santos City in their hometown in Mindanao by garnering a total of 95, 092 votes, which ranked as second. While Manny's younger brother, Rogelio Pacquiao is poised to replace him to be the next congressman of Sarangani province, which will attend the 17th Congress of the Philippines this June 30, 2016.
The famous boxing superstar promised to prevent more absences when he will start serving as a senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was criticised for his absences while taking more time to concentrate on his bouts to international matches.
Manny Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee Pacquiao is also an outgoing vice governor of Sarangani province in Mindanao island. She was elected in May 2013 elections under the United Nationalist Alliance Political Party. It is the initial and the only term of Manny's spouse. She announced to retire from politics so that she can pursue with their family business, a good wife for Manny, and a loving mother to their children.
People's champ, Manny Pacquiao is a boxing superstar and a living boxing legend of Philippine boxing. He is the only reigning eight-division world champion in boxers, making him one of the greatest boxers of all time. He garnered at least ten world boxing titles from different glamor division titles.
In 2000, he was decorated as the Fighter of the Decade by (BWAA) Boxing Writers Association of America, (WBAA) World Boxing Association of America, and (WBC) World Boxing Council. He is also proclaimed by BoxRex as the greatest Asian Boxer of all time, beating the greatest boxers from different countries around thew world.
Manny Pacquiao wants to prove to the public that he is not only a great boxer, he can be also a great leader of his countrymen. He aims to set an example to other sports champion that there are more doors for opportunities after sports, especially when one decides to retire.
