Miss Universe Organization recently invited former beauty queens to attend the 65th edition of Miss Universe in the Philippines. Former Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres from Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen were invited by the MUO to further grace the event in Manila, Philippines. The duo will further bring more excitement to the upcoming Miss Universe because fans will have the chance to personally encounter these previous winners from the 1990's decade.

As for Dayanara Torres, she is very excited to return back to the Philippines to attend the annual event in Manila. Miss Universe 1993 stated that she is can't wait to travel to the Philippines that she consider her second home aside from her hometown Puerto Rico. This is the best time for her to visit the most memorable country where she made a big career in the field of Philippine entertainment industry. Dayanara Torres was the predecessor of Sushmita Sen who won Miss Universe 1994 in Manila.

As for Sushmita Sen, she will be revisiting the land where her life totally changed forever. She will be returning to the Philippines to rekindle her past where her greatest achievement in her personal career started with a bang. For sure, Sushmita will be meeting with other Indians as she will be one of the most important personalities to attend the 65th edition of Miss Universe in January. Sushmita is the first woman to win Miss Universe from India.

Sushmita Sen now works as an entertainment artist in India. Since her win, she became phenomenal in India, gaining numerous sponsorship from several local and international brands in India. Sushmita immediately became one of the most famous actress in Bollywood, being featured in several television shows and movies. Sushmita Sen is also a professional model in India swaying her catwalk skills on the runway while promoting dresses from famous local and international fashion brands in India and abroad.

Dayanara Torres and Sushmita Sen will also be joined by 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz along with Miss Universe 1973 Margarita Moran. This means that there will be at least five past winners of Miss Universe who will be attending the 65th edition that will be held in January next year. The other one is the reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach who will be crowning her successor on January. After the coronation night, there will be at least six Miss Universe winners from different editions of the beauty pageant.

Sushmita Sen might bring other beauty queens from her country, India to visit the Philippines along with local artists from India. Dayanara Torres might be accompanied by the past winners of Miss Universe from Puerto Rico. These two former beauty queens might be also accompanied by the winners of other international beauty pageants.

Pageant fanatics from the Philippines will have a privilege to meet their favorite beauty queens up close and personal. This time, they will be seeing some of the most photographed beauty queens from around the world by just using their naked eye. Fans can also have the chance to take selfies with delegates and international titleholders from around the world.

The Miss Universe Organization hopes to invite more past winners of Miss Universe to attend the event in Manila this coming January. Aside from the past winners, candidates from previous editions are now being invited to join and glorify the event.

The reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is from the Philippines. Pia is very happy that her dream of crowning her successor in her home country finally became a reality. She hopes that the vision and mission of Miss Universe will be continued by her future successor, which will soon reign for the next year.

The Philippines is hosting the 65th edition of Miss Universe that will take place in Manila on January 30, 2017. This is the third time that the country will be the center of the universe's attention during the competition even after the coronation night.
