Forbes is set to release the list of billionaires in its September edition. The world will now learn who is the richest personalities in the world. The list also includes the richest individuals from their respective countries as classified by the magazine's staff, available online. Each country around the world will now learn who is the most successful person in their country, which are mainly responsible for driving their economy in the long term.

The Forbes criteria are based on several factors that will confirm the total gross amount of investments and earnings that these personalities have. Some of these include income tax return, statement of assets and liabilities, and financial reports indicated from the companies of personalities listed on the Forbes millionaire's list. All information will be collected and tallied by the personnel once that they have already verified the source of funds generated from these very rich individuals and groups. As for the Philippines, the number of billionaires increased. For the first time in history, the Philippines has now a total of 21 billionaires. This makes the Philippines as the fourth country in Southeast Asia to have the highest number of billionaires. Singapore tops the list with 29 billionaires. Indonesia came close to have at least 28 billionaires. Thailand is the third with 24 total number of billionaires. Malaysia ranked 5th with 14 total number of billionaires.

For the rest of Asia, China still tops the list as the country with the most number of billionaires in Asia with 335 billionaires. Hong Kong has at least 51 number of billionaires. Taiwan or Chinese Taipei has a total of 39 number of billionaires. The third richest country in the world, Japan, has a total of 37 billionaires. In South Korea, there are at least 34 billionaires listed by the Forbes magazine. So far, Asia has the highest concentration of billionaires than any continents around the world.

The United States still has the highest concentration of billionaires in the world. As of March, there are 540 listed number of billionaires on the list. In the September edition of Forbes, they only listed at least 400 billionaires. This was mainly because there were billionaires who are now having problems with their assets, stocks, and investments that make them uncertain to retain their spot in the list of billionaires.
