After the second official canvassing of votes were tallied at the House of Representatives located in Manila. Congresswoman Maria Leonora Robredo of Camarines Sur officially ended her agony as she redeemed to be the winner of the vice-presidential race of the Republic of the Philippines. She is expected to be proclaimed by the Congress anytime next week at the House of Representatives in Manila.

As a former judge in Naga City, this lady did not expect that her life will change forever after her husband's accident. Leni is very happy now that she is going to serve as the vice-president of the republic of the Philippines. This will be an honor for her to highlight her career as the second most powerful public official in her country. Although her win is one of the most controversial, the results indicated that she deserves the spot to be the next vice-president, who will be working with Rodrigo Duterte starting on June 30, 2016 after their oath of office that will be officially recognized as public officials to represent the country to foreign affairs.

Congresswoman Maria Leonora 'Leni' Robredo is now officially recognized as the incoming vice-president of the Republic of the Philippines. She is the second woman in the history of the country to win the second most powerful public position in the country. Leni Robredo will officially serve the country for at least six years beginning from June 30, 2016, until June 30, 2022, in which the next winning candidate will be succeeding her position in the next elections.

With a total counted votes of at least 14.3 million. Her rival, Bong Bong Marcos, got close but not enough to reach Robredo's vote count to only just flat at 14 million votes.

Senator Bong Bong Marcos is the closest rival of Leni as previous tallies reveal that there is a consistent gap of 200,000 votes. He is the son of former president Ferdinand Marcos and former first lady and Congresswoman Imelda Marcos.

Bong Bong Marcos almost got all the support or votes from the whole island of Luzon with the exception of Tarlac province and Bicol region. Leni Robredo got the support of Bicol region, Tarlac province, and almost all of the Visayas region. Both candidates shared the total votes from several provinces, regions, and cities in the island of Mindanao.

The camp of Bong Bong Marcos is expected to file an election protest against the final tally of the vice-presidential votes even Leni Robredo is now officially recognized as the Philippine Vice-President.

The vice-presidential vote count is the most challenging for the Philippine Commission of Election, together with the House of Representatives and Smartmatic, who counted the votes. This was brought about by the claims of uncertainties with regards to the vote counts as both parties were questioning the results.

The second round of vote that has just been done recently was a repeat from the initial election vote tallying that was conducted right after the elections and the special elections.

After the confirmed report, Leni Robredo is now starting to receive several congratulatory remarks from other candidates. Her political party, which is affiliated with the current administration of the Philippines is happy that one of their candidates won one of the most powerful positions in the country.

Lenny Robredo was the former partner of the deceased DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government) unit executive branch, Jesse Manalastas Robredo.

She was born under the full name of Maria Leonor Santo Tomas Gerona Robredo. Leni is the outgoing Camarines Sur's Third District Congresswoman elected to the House of Representatives of the Philippines since June 30, 2013.

Prior from being a politician, she is a practicing lawyer of the Republic of the Philippines. She served as a judge in Naga City.
